The PAC is a group of parent volunteers who work as a conduit between the school administration and the parent body. We advocate for parents’ wishes, and we organize fundraisers to help support our kids’ schooling experiences.

Our Role
The General Wolfe PAC supports the school community in three main areas:
- Communication between teachers and parents
- Fundraising to support enriched programming and other school needs
- Parent involvement, including volunteering, parent-led programs, and helping to support our focus on being socially responsible and empathetic

About the School
Did You Know?
- General Wolfe Elementary was built in 1910.
- In 1912, two additional wings were added due to the expanding population. In 1920, two wooden temporary buildings were built. These buildings are still used as the annex and gym today.
- General Wolfe Elementary was named after General James Wolfe.
- The school is listed on Canada’s Historic Places. General Wolfe Elementary School is a two-storey brick school with a raised basement and a wood-frame annex at the rear. The earliest portion was built in 1910–12 in a Classical Revival style, featuring the “barbell” plan — a central block with projecting wings.
- One of Wolfe’s claims to fame is the boy featured in the internationally recognized photograph “Wait for Me, Daddy”. The boy in the photograph attended General Wolfe.
